I was particularly pleased to capture the couple! It’s a tad blurry because it was snowing quite a bit, as you can see but I kind of like that it gives it a dreamy quality. Yeah, the males are such show-offs.
Spring best get here, because today’s temps SUCKED! I am absolutely done with iced up windows. And even the hot chocolate mornings has gotten old at this point.
Tell me about it. As I left the hospital, after visiting my aunt, great, big, fat, Christmas-style flakes were falling. WTF!
I am DONE, DONE, DONE! Don’t even talk to me about hot chocolate. Or comfort food. Or anything related to winter.
Yeah, and Dunkirk Dave is running for office so he’s going to have security detail. Sir Wally Wally became a rapper. Those peeps usually go after each other . . .
Dang it. Alrighty then. We’ll just leave them to take care of each other. I ain’t listing the other four, though I am tempted to just to see what you do with them!
No, screw that, here goes: What about Octoarara Orphie, or Pierre C. Shadeaux, or Chuckles IX, or Unadilla Bill, then?
Orphie scored a job with the Miami Dolphins as their new starting QB. Pierre went into radio. His show “The Shadeaux Knows” is tops in drive time. Chuckles IX does a stand up routine in Vegas. And Unadilla Bill, ironically, was arrested in a counterfeiting ring.
Oh Dale. Did you know the cardinal is my favorite bird? I have two stuffed ones on my bed named Stella and Stanley. They’re a totem of mine representing hope and good to come. 😊
I have to tell you, Susannah, there will be future pictures of Cardinals because. Hello? Are they not fabulous? Just for today’s picture, I hemmed and hawed between three of them! Chose this one (despite being blurry – or do we call it romantically softened?) because of the snowfall and we are still in snow-mode here!
So… all the more happy that it’s your fave!
To Stella and Stanley (I shall name my couple…)
I could not agree more, Susannah. The males prance around in their formal gear whilst the ladies do their thing, knowing they have what it takes without the smoke and mirrors 😉
Thank you, John. I chose it despite its slight blurriness (but I’m calling it a romantic softening) because I caught the couple and it’s snowing – still a frequent situation here!
The male cardinal in the winter is always a sight to behold – always beautiful.

B,
I did! It’s a tad blurry but hey, I got two! In the snow! Kinda romantic, eh?
Nah… I’m rather happy to be your WW gal. 🙂

Quite romantic indeed.
The colors, robust. The focus gently tucks us in to the moment.
Which is why you’re my WW gal. 😉

Spring must be ’round the corner…
Robust – good word.
I am very honoured to be your WW gal! 😉

I want someone to find that groundhog that lives upstate from here. Imma make a BBQ out of the little bastid, LOL.
Hot chocolate and comfort food almost ruined my girlish figure . . .
MUAH!

All the damn groundhogs need to be reassigned. Or BBQ’d. Or sent off to a special forever away camp to leave us the weather’s whims…
Don’t get me started. My wasp’s figure is now a bumble bee’s…

Yes, just in case PETA is reading . . we’ll just send them to a forever away camp and save the BBQ sauce . . .

Right, right! Of course…That’s what we said, right?

We’ll drive Phil the groundhog to forever away camp. Bring shovels, I’ll bring the silencer. Yanno . . just in case we break down.

Excellent… Don’t forget all his other cronies that go by ridiculous names, like Dunkirk Dave, Staten Island Chuck, Sir Wally Wally, et al…

Staten Island Chuck is off limits. He’s a made groundhog.

PS. The female in her Quaker/ Shaker attire may not be as dashing as her man but she still is so pretty. A farm girl she is.
