Beautiful snow/tree scene in the park. Nothing quite like a stately tree against a clear blue sky to make a lovely statement on the first day of Spring. 🌷
I always view winter trees minus their leaves as naked debutantes when any moment, their trunk will arrive and they’ll be properly dressed for their first spring dance. Central Park on the first day of spring, is filled with naked ladies.
I love how your tree looks against the sky, such a lovely blue, my favorite color. Keep snappin’ away Dale. They get better and better. 🙂
Exactly! And the sky is oh so blue at this time of year.
It’s a secret circle of wanton, lithe ladies, gyrating under the sun’s brightness, showing off their perfection before being properly clothed in leaves of varying colour.
With you to encourage me, I’m not quitting any time soon! 😊
Same here and we picked Virginia (in part) for the mild winters that still had snow – but it is a little too mild and we are rather settled but I would not mind moving a little north for a better winter because I also LOVE a good winter ❄️❄️❄️❄️;)
Yeah – if you were still skiing it would be different –
I am from buffalo – where it felt like winter went til May (and the skiing options sucked there – had a place called kissing bridge but not many options)
Yikes! … you still have snow on the ground … OH!!!!! … good reason to stay inside and pack …. Ugh!!!!

This is nothing! I had just come from up north where it was double! (Almost chose a pic from there. Should have.)

Don’t speak too soon, it could still happen again. You’re supposed to get snow this weekend after all.

Yes, we are definitely not done with snow in this neck of the woods. However, that said, I shall not be using a picture with any sign of snow 😉

Oh, it looks so cold!

But it was not (for me, anyway…)! It was about 0°C (32°F) After the winter we’ve had, that’s practically balmy!

It really is all relative. I lived in Fargo, ND once and when it would reach 32 degrees people could be seen in shorts! 😀

I loved the starkness of the tree against the beautiful sky. My feet feel cold though. Great one, Dale.

That’s exactly what stopped me and urged me to click away!
It would be mightily cold for you, John, now that you’ve gotten used to Texas Temps…

I’m actually a big fan of spring storms. They come in quickly and are gone almost as quickly.

Yes!! And they are calling for 5-6 inches from Friday to Saturday. 😜

I love your description. A chorus line with branches rather than legs.

I wouldn’t mind a slightly shorter one 😉
When March arrives, we are pretty much fed up! Maybe if I still skied, I would not feel the same.

Maybe. Then again, maybe I would be done with it! Ugh to winter until May.
