I’m reading Julie and Julia, so food is on my mind. But even if I was reading a non fooder…they’d still remind me of artichokes…they have a perfect shape.
I love the opening scene when they drop the car onto the dock. The colors of Paris are brilliant. It was her last movie and she was sick then and no one but her family knew. It just humbles me how she kept going. Sometimes when I feel like giving up I think of her. I say, get up off the mat Susannah, in memory of Nora. sigh
I read, the day before she died, in the hospital, she had her hair done. Apparently, leukemia rallies and she figured, she’d come out of it again, but alas…she did not. She was working with her sister on a new screenplay from her hospital bed.
There are those who will fight till the end, never giving up. And if you are of the belief that you will come out of it, then for sure you will keep doing what you do that makes you vibrate. How can we not admire folks like that.
Not a ton of color, and yet it feels as if nature stopped at just the right moment in time when painting this one onto its palette. Funny how that works, the design of it all. Like . . where does it come from? Is there some cosmic laboratory in some netherverse where the bloom is tested until THIS happens?
The thing about this bloom is its mesmerizing effect. You see it for what it is and then you start looking deeper and seeing other things. And then you take a merry go round to the other side, and your back to seeing what it is again.
Sometimes, when I’m particularly open to it, nature stops me and says Yo! Stop! Lookit me! And this pale little beauty seemed to do that, blushingly, quietly.
I’m always glad when a photo I take makes a person want to look closer. Must be why I keep coming back week after week 😉
Dandelions have their quiet moments… think of when they are all fluffy and ready to have their seeds blown by the wind or the breath of a child (or adult, for that matter).
Stawp it! I’m just one of those nosy busy-body tenants who’s all up in your bidness!
They do. But I’ve always considered them more of a pack than a self. Take a rose for instance. One is plenty enough. Dandelions always move in packs, maybe so’s they can piss off homeowners, I don’t know.
Outside of playing your music too loudly, you’re the model tenant.
Perfect!

Oh yes! She was such a strong and brave one.
Whatever works to help one not give up is what counts. Another one gone way too soon. Sigh.

She was a pale rider giddy-upping through the worn out heat and doing her thing in spite of all the push back. And yes, she speaks. Loudly.
As the artist, you have to have your purpose. No one or no thing can speak to that motivation but you.
Welp, magic does come from somewhere.

Darn tootin’! Funny how you don’t have to be loud to speak loudly! No brash fuschia, this one…
I thank you for encouraging me. It helps me to stop and pay attention; if for nothing else than to have something for Wednesdays!
It does.

Yes, it IS refreshing in this day and age of scream. To be able to fall upon a seed whose voice is low and yet so powerful.
You’ve mastered the platform, if I do say so myself. And I don’t. Say so. Not myself. I believe everyone would agree. 🙂

That’s because it sticks out by NOT being like the rest…
Haha! Well, the important thing is that, as my landlord to this Wednesday spot, you DO say you enjoy, at least 😉

It really does. It ain’t no dandelion!
Landlord, hahaha! If I was your landlord, you would be so far ahead on the rent, you’d own the place.
I dine on the weekly images.

Yeah, they definitely run in packs. But just think. They are a bee’s first food so… I let ’em bloom (No, no, I am NOT lazy. I am caring!)
And here I thought you liked my musical repertoire. I’ll lower the volume, Sir.

The bees, oh the bees. We keep losing these buggers more and more. So . . lazy is really compassion? I like it!
Wait a minute, that was my music playing too loudly. Sooooorrryyy. 😂
