Thank you, kind lady. I was beyond pleased she allowed me to capture her.
Zeke and I walked round trying to get a closer pic, and I did but the reflection was cut so I used this one instead. She then took off but I missed capturing it as there were trees in the way!
Amazing photo. The details of the bird and the magnificent reflection. (Dare I try to paint this one?) At any rate lovely. You really have an eye for composition. Not everyone who snaps a photo does.
Thank you so much. I was beyond pleased, lemme tell you!
And why don’t you? I would love to see what you come up with!
I do appreciate that you think so!
These birds really look like something pulled from the prehistoric age and plucked down into modern day! From those bills to those piercing eyes to that pipe cleaner neck that juts out as if its waiting for the last boat to cross under the bridge. It’s comforting to think we still have this life going on, in spite of ourselves.
And what a shot! But I’m not surprised in the least, since you make Wednesdays W(O)W days . . .
They are! I was so happy to capture it. And you know what? When I first crossed the bridge, I took a shot of the water. Only when I put them up on the screen did I see that I originally captured him waaaay back 😉
Amazing that you caught a heron in the water with its feet upward and a heron above it.

Like I just told Frank, it’s a lady Heron. Can’t ya just see pearls gracing that neck? National Geographic could not have taken a better shot. 📷

B,
I cannot lie. I was beyond chuffed with this one! I mean the heron by itself would have been wow but with the reflection? Watch me “happy dance”!
They really do. I love them for that.
Ad thank you! I am so very glad you like. And with a W(O)W no less…

Chuffed is good.
It was like watching the heron collapse on itself, it was a great effect,
Nice to know that nature has that kind of ferocity, to maintain.
Yes to the W(O)W. I think the two letters is all well and good, but why settle when you can go for three?

Chuffed is always good.
Kinda cool, put that way.
It is great to know.
Sweet. And hey… why not?

Chuffed is such a pleasant sounding word, you can’t NOT like it.
It’s the Babe Ruth Truth.
I love that it’s that way. That nature can tap us on the shoulder in subtle ways and be like “Yo,”
I see no reason why not.

It really is and sometimes the best word to use. Sounds way better than ‘pleased’, dontcha think?
That’s some real stuff there.
Yes! Yo! Stop and take a look-see!
Voila.

Pleased works. The way Dunkin Donuts works. In a pinch . . when there’s no other options available.
It ain’t smart to fool with Mother’s Nature, because her zip code covers the heavens and the earth, and we ain’t got a chance against that.

Exackery my thought.
Nope. We best respect her. At all times.

The problem is, not enough peeps do respect her. But that’s ayt, she’ll just take back her crib.

“Blue” has been avoiding the creek around my house. Probably due to the fact that it hasn’t rained for awhile. Nice capture. 👁👁🍃
