  1. Dear Dale,

Amazing photo. The details of the bird and the magnificent reflection. (Dare I try to paint this one?) At any rate lovely. You really have an eye for composition. Not everyone who snaps a photo does.

Shalom and lotsa hugs…keeping things in focus. πŸ˜‰

Thank you so much. I was beyond pleased, lemme tell you!
And why don’t you? I would love to see what you come up with!
I do appreciate that you think so!

  2. Q,

Mirror image of a heron? Only. You.

These birds really look like something pulled from the prehistoric age and plucked down into modern day! From those bills to those piercing eyes to that pipe cleaner neck that juts out as if its waiting for the last boat to cross under the bridge. It’s comforting to think we still have this life going on, in spite of ourselves.

And what a shot! But I’m not surprised in the least, since you make Wednesdays W(O)W days . . .

    • They are! I was so happy to capture it. And you know what? When I first crossed the bridge, I took a shot of the water. Only when I put them up on the screen did I see that I originally captured him waaaay back πŸ˜‰
