  1. Looks like The Hamptons alongside the beach. I’m comforted by it since it reminds me, spring and summer will come again, even though it doesn’t seem so. I like how the snow is secondary, already melting, making room for coming bloom. There’s nothing like a photograph to escort you into reverie. I always appreciate how your pictures do that. One rests while one looks. 🙂

  2. Q,

I immediately thought Clemenza. From the cannoli scene in the Godfather where they take Paulie for a ride and then bada boom, Paulie don’t have a head cold no more, what with all that lead inside it!

But seriously, I am digging on Wyeth when I look at this capture. He had a way of framing dreams inside his nature scenes that you’ve fixed on here. Simple yet layered, straight forward and yet complicated with the little details that keep your eyes busy.

    • B,

      Ah yes, that ride… I remember…

You do this to me all the time. Your knowledge of things art. I had to look up Wyeth (coz I am so not knowledgeable in any of it) and must thank you for the compliment. Because that is definitely how I take it. I am beyond pleased you like and see something in it.
