  1. Have I ever mentioned I have a big thing for squirrels? Ever since I saved one from drowning at the 72nd Street Boat Pond in Central Park. He was a baby who had fallen in and if I hadn’t helped, he would have been a goner. It’s how I learned they have scruffs, like cats.

Your guy looks just like him, just a little bigger. Yeah I know, they all look alike, but they don’t really, not if you study them.

Your weekly photo never fails to evoke a memory in me. It’s one of the reasons I look forward to Wordless Wednesday. Nice of Sorryless to share his prominent stage with you. That alone says something.

    You’re very talented Dale. 🙂

Uh, are you absolutely certain he wasn’t posing for you when you took this capture for the Wordless Wednesday? Because it looks to me as if the little guy was like “Yeah, I got a few minutes to spare. And besides, it’s nice to be out of the house because the wife is . . . wait for it . . driving me nuts!”.

    Another winnah.

  3. Such a handsome squirrel he is! Great shot. We have a squirrel who lives in our yard who had some kind of injury to his tail–like chopped off. He seems to manage fine though. My husband thinks it’s grown back some?
