  1. Looks so much like the Rambles in Central Park, the wildness of it. It’s the one section with the exception of picking up litter, left alone allowed to grow at will.

I love that stream of sun, like it was backlit on purpose. I can hear Mother Nature now yelling….

    START CAMERA…ACTION.

She’d be a regular Cecil B. Demille using trees and squirrels as extras.

I truly look forward to your photos Dale since they always uplift, and as a friend of mine likes to say…we artists aspire to inspire, something you do without fail. 🙂

It’s poetry in pictures. Because it makes me think of Walt Whitman’s works, and how a blade of grass can feel like its own little universe when you look deep inside and really study the thing. That’s how this capture seems to resonate with me. And then the sun comes in and creates a melodic dance as a result.

    Beautiful as per.

    • Q,

It’s so funny. My grass is in the saddest state it could possibly be. We get three minutes of rain and then the sun comes out and I had a golden carpet. So out I went with camera in hand. Nope. Couldn’t quite capture it so I focused on leaves on the trees (you might see next week). Went back in and the sun comes out again and this time, I lie down on my stomach and then the magic happens (or I hope it does)

      Thank you for your generosity.

      • The capture definitely brings out another part of it, gives it a wholly different life even. And the sun most definitely provides that magical hue that makes us think in poetic terms.

Thank you for the magic act
