I saw this go up last night but I had to wait until this morning. More leaves have fallen in your area than here, but that’s what’s on the way for me. Well done …. and good morning.
Yeah, I had a glitch. You wouldn’t have been able to comment last night. 😏
Yes, I’ve no doubt and up north there are none left at all.
Thank you.
And good morning to you!
Stunning is a great word to describe your latest….leaves, Mother Nature’s party favors I remember being a kid, collecting them like shells on a beach, pressing them between wax paper. It was one of the highlights of fall, pre-Thanksgiving, always, even in my dysfunctional house, a glorious day.
I loved how the in was shining on them as I practically lay down to capture this.
Nature’s party favours – love that!
I still do that! Well, I did. Then I mod-podged them, strung them up with pinecones on my mantle piece. Was rather lovely, if I say so myself. 🤭
Nature’s palette seems like something that was stolen from the Louvre, the secrets of the masters brought to life and death. It’s pretty impossible to imagine, and yet . . there it is.
Couldn’t find any indigo but figured I’d go with my favourite colour which I happen to know you dig, too. And this particular one? I couldn’t help but share it.
Indigo, the idea . . it came from having listened to Duke Ellington recently, by way of Jewel by way of Beth Hart by way of Melissa Etheridge. That’s how my YouTube music grabs work, you never know where you’re gonna end up.
From music to movies, I’m of the eclectic vein and it’s always been that way. So when I rail on about too many choices, it’s my inner angst peeling rubber on my own noggin. That and the OCD . . .
And that is part of your charm. Nothing more boring than a one-note person who ONLY does Action or Jazz or Drama or 70’s Rock – not open to what is out there. And you rail on only because there are a limited hours in a day 😉
I couldn’t imagine doing the one note. It’s so constricting. And as far the limited hours in a day, there’s always time for music and semi-deep thought and no thought at all and . . . .
and neither could I. My gawd. Some are still stuck on that old 70’s music. It’s great and all but can we switch it up once in a while? Yes, there is always time for music… but you know what I meant!
Nothing wrong with it, yes. And it’s not like you can’t keep coming back to it, yanno? But why not shop the entire record store is what we’re saying. Don’t get stuck in a decade, but IF I were to be stuck in one decade and I had to stay there? Gimme the eighties . . .
Thank you, Yvette!
So very glad you enjoy. The colours are pretty done here already since this photo was taken and the peak period would have been the week before. Funny hos that works!

I love it. Isn’t it the best how you can go from one genre to the other and it all feels seamless?
I am so very glad you do.

No, there ain’t. But hell, there is SO much out there, why stay stuck? And the eighties had it all, didn’t it?

That’s why if I had to absolutely choose, I would go with the eighties. So much to choose from.
