  1. John just used the word, trompe l’oeil, and that’s the first thing that came to mind. • a painting or design intended to create the illusion of a three-dimensional object. In this case, it’s a photograph. Those raindrops look like jewels you can pick to string, for round your neck. 🙂

      • No. I am far from offended. I don’t know how I missed your comment. Was even wondering where you were! I don’t know why I didn’t see it until now. Apologies for my tatdiness.

          • No. It’s so weird. You know, I’ve only started using Gmail and I loathe it. The way it’s set up, I find I’m often deleting the wrong thing. I’ll use the notifications bar but on the phone they sometimes get cut off. Then I go to the email and usually check there, too. Finally, I’ll go right on the post and make sure I didn’t inadvertently not respond. So… I would have found you!

    • I didn’t see this comment until now. Usually, I’ll go to the post in case I missed a comment and I would have today, especially as I wondered where you were 😉. But you’ve already returned.
And yes. I was saying the photo looks almost manufactured as the droplets seem placed just so,don’t they?

    • Thank you M+M! I haven’t the foggiest clue! It’s while taking a walk that I discovered it and was drawn to take its picture. I’ll ask my plant connoisseur…
