I’ll be your assistant in a little short dress, standing outside like a carnival barker screaming, STEP RIGHT IN!!! It’s that P.T. Barnum in me coming from the same hometown and all. π
I knew you’d be in, and BTW…I didn’t realize you took that great photo of the tinseled door on FF two weeks ago. I just visited David so I got to see it. It’s great. I think you should rerun in on WW. For the Holidaze π
Of course.
And, yes, I did π
That door was actually a window inside a restaurant where I was with friends for New Year’s Eve. That’s a good idea. π
Why thank you, Frank. I set out yesterday morning, determined to find something and did – next door! This is my neighbour’s grass.
So glad you love it.
Looks like a lavish, beautiful rug you’d see if Nature had a house with 4 walls.
You got some nice comments. Frank’s especially. He doesn’t visit me anymore. He’s a…if you don’t read me, not interested in you. No matter. Too bad though since you always want your prose to stand on its own.
But back to you… still think you should think about having a show. π
It does, doesn’t it? I saw an ocean of grassy waves.
I have been blessed by lovely comments. I’ve never been a I won’t follow you if you don’t follow me. There are plenty I follow that don’t, me and plenty that follow me, that I don’t them. As you say, no matter. We all want our prose to stand on its own. And in the end, I guess we do write for ourselves and if others enjoy what we write, then it’s all bonus.
And thank you. I still think I’d have to think about it π
Isn’t that the coolest? I may have aided it a bit as the sun kinda washed it out but yes, it is still green (surprisingly). The dull is almost completely here. November has to be the dreariest month.
What an extraordinary photo, it looks like a world within a world. Little peaks stick up inviting you to admire every detail captured. Thank you for sharing this!
Dear Dale,
Lovely blanket of pine. Love your photos. π
Shalom and lotsa in-focus hugs,

This is so wild. Its as if the ocean were made up of pine needles!
And then I look further and it feels like a capture out of a fantasy novel. A classic fantasy novel, mind you. To match the peerless photographer.

She should have a show. I know it’s a pricey endeavor, but maybe she’d get funding. We’d all contribute. Yes?

Yes we can. I could write material. Pay me in bourbon and plantain chips.

B,
Isn’t it? I felt like it looked like a wild ocean with the waves – and it’s my neighbour’s grass!
Oooh… I like that. I love when peeps see stuff in my photos. And I thank you. Peerless, eh?

SO cool! It really comes off as that to me.
Peerless. Uh huh . yeah. Definitely peerless when it comes to your captures. No takesy backsies.

It did to me, as well. Enough to stop me and get me down almost on my knees to take it!
Then I shall keep it and offer a MWAH! in exchange.

I love it, those waves are so rhythmic. It could be the ocean, it could a painting. It most definitely could be both.
MUAH is a fair exchange.
