After seeing your Photo, I had to put on a sweater. So lifelike. I see icicles like that often in the Park, but not lately so yours made me smile. it’s the sculptor in Nature when she does that. π
Oh dear! It was just so darn beautiful, I had to use it. I promise (okay… I’d like to promise) ice and snow-free next week! Our snow is disappearing fast (’bout time!) so spring is starting to be felt. Nature gave me a few to choose from today! I have a little theme going on FB calling it Dame Nature preparing the ball for the end of the season, and there are chandeliers and such π
No green to be scene and you know that’s rather mean . . but your ice is so nice that I have to love it twice! And yes, I was rhyming for a reason. Because winter ain’t going to take me down with it as it arrives at its Waterloo. I’ll simply appreciate the beautiful captures you dish up instead. Yeah . . that’s what I’ll do. π
Dr. Seuss has infiltrated you!
Love your play on scene you know
It’s fun to play with words, we grow
Winter can’t take us down
We refuse to wear a frown
So I thank you for your kind words
Let it be known, I was duly stirred.
Aren’t they pretty? And when I crouched down to get a closer look, well… I took quite a few on Monday and had trouble choosing! Will share the others on the ‘Gram! And thank you, sweet lady! π₯°
These were but a few. I had some I called chandeliers. (Came thisclose to using that today!) Some were table centres. Was rather hard to pick one! Glad you enjoyed this one, Eilene.
Dear Dale,
I don’t think I’ve seen this one before. It’s so stunning it makes me shiver. Seriously.
Shalom and lotsa warming hugs,
Rochelle

It is! Always amazes me how it can go from feet of snow to 2/3 of my lawn free from snow seemingly overnight.

It was rather chilly on Monday (when I took it) but not as bad as the day before!
And thank you, Pam.

I know!
And BOOM to the CHACKA LACKA! As you volleyed it right back, which really is the only way you can answer a Seuss. With another Seuss . . .

Not too many challenges I can resist! Wasn’t quite up to par with yours but I tried. π

It looks like something one would buy for a chandelier, Dale. Well done.

Icicles really are some of Natureβs finest works of inanimate art.
