Thank you. It was the reflection of a building on a man-made lake. I liked it so much I did 6 variations (enhancing the colour, making it black and white…)
So glad you like it too,
Thank you, Susannah. Sometimes it’s fun to play with settings. All I did was crop and enhance the colours. The original was even more soft. I almost put up both for a comparison…
Glad you enjoyed. I know you are more of a purist when it comes to photography but sometimes it is nice to play a little 🙂
So glad you do, Frank! I took a few pictures of the reflections of the buildings next to a man-made lake… and then I got in closer and saw that it looked like abstract art. I love this one. Used it in my last post with six variations then, on a whim, cropped it more and shared it here.
Good morning to you!
There are times when you write something and know it’s not just good, but that it exceeds every expectation and becomes something else entirely. Doesn’t happen often, but I think I write for that purpose, that goal. And I can imagine, this is what photography is like too. To snap a pic of something and produce something totally unique, completely different from anything else. That’s what you got here.
Yes, exactly that. It hasn’t happened too often in my writing but in my photography, there have been glimpses now and again. I love this picture and feel it falls into that category. Thanks for putting it into such words!
It’s quite perfect, so yeah . . Imma stick with my beyond perfection because to capture it like this and then to tango with it to bring about other moods requires a skill I just shake my head in envy over
Looks like a painting. Reminds me of a post card of a bridge in Central Park the Met sells. Lovely Dale, as always.

I like it. Enough going on that has my wondering what is being reflected … but I can’t tell. What is it? Good morning, Dale.

It really is. Such a wonderful file, too!

Careful with the writers. They’re needy and repulsively similar unless you choose the cool ones. 😉
It has its own floor at the National Archives, so you best believe it!

Oh, I am getting to know that… Which is why I’m rather persnickety with whom I choose to fraternise… Only cool ones allowed. 😁
It deserves it!!
