Wow, to be caught in flight. Like a bird with her panties down. And itβs so clear. Wonder if she knew she was being photographed. Iβll imagine her shy, hiding in her wings wishing she remembered to powder her nose. So pretty Dale and reminding spring is a mere flutter away. π
Thank you, Susannah. I was so very pleased to capture this one as clearly as I did. Pure luck!
And I shall keep your imagery and pretend shew as wearing her laces and frills.
The reason I did choose this one is for that exact reason: that spring is nigh. (Yeah, yeah, officially by date it is, but by the quantity of snow still here, I don’t count it!)
I’m lost as to how photographers are able to capture such a moment with their cameras, but I don’t have to understand it when I can simply enjoy it. π
I did! And! Part of the cardinal is sorta in focus.
In my case, pure luck. I can’t remember this case. It’s an older pic and (I promised no snow which we still have in abundance) I can’t remember if I had my camera set on multi-pic or not. Still. Mostly luck π.

It’s ‘sort’ of in focus? Only a real deal photog would be that humble . . .
Tell me something, did you take this picture when you were in St Louis?
Loved it!
